Our 3 person team has more than 100 years of combined experience

John has been active in the Forest Industry in BC since 1978 starting out as a cruiser on the Coast for MacMillan Bloedel.  since starting his own consulting firm in 1987 John has worked the  Coastlines of British Columbia as well as the Interior.

He specialized in timber cruising, residue and waste, training, auditing, the development of timber cruising software and GPS plot location. A paper on this devolopment is published by the Forest Professionals of BC magazine, "Forum"

 

He served for many years on the Forest Measurements Panel of FPBC

John was awarded the Software Innovation Award in the Norther Interior in 2007 and the "Distinguished Forest Professional" award by ABCFP in 2017.

Els expertise consists of all aspects of operational cruising, cruise compilations as well as data analysis, training and compilation audits.

​

 Els has a long history serving as a volunteer on several boards at the Association of BC Forest Professionals (Finance, Investigations and Forest Measurement panel)

 

Els served on ABCFP's council (2018-2020) and also served as a Director for the Southern Interior Timber Cruisers Association for many years.

Chris has been involved in the IT industry since 1986 and has received diplomas in Electronics Engineering and Computer Programming.

 

He has developed software in several computer languages including Perl, PHP, Java, C, C++, C#, BASIC and more for many platforms, including Windows Computers, Unix based systems and Handheld PC's.

 

Chris provides IT solutions for both business and personal needs.

 

Chris owns Emerald Computer Services And Advent Technologies and would be more than happy to discuss a solution for your software or IT needs.
